1. Fed bails out Fannie and Freddie Mac. Good idea? I'm not qualified/sure enough to say, but I can tell you that the U.S. government just did exactly what they've been telling developing countries not to do for the past 30 years if they wanted World Bank/IMF funds. That sound you hear? That's entire Latin American countries screaming "Por que, idiotas? Por que?!?"

Yeah, some people from TV shows (Greg Grunberg is the name that I immediately remember associated with this too) put together a charity band, and Spencer's got mad violin skills.
