That being said, this is the first day, in a long while, that I feel like I got something done. I wrote a summary for work, poked at my grad school essays, signed up for Yuletide, emailed Mr. Cokie with my official "this is why I want to go to grad school" note, read half of the WaPo, and had time to have dinner with my uncle for three hours.
Second day off tomorrow, but Small Neoliberal Institution wants me to bring my own camera to take pictures on Wednesday? Seriously?
A sense of anticipation extended beyond 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As the Obamas’ limousine made its way to the White House, hundreds of people lined the streets, craning their necks to see. When the door opened and the couple stepped out to greet the Bushes, there was an unfamiliar sound: cheering outside the White House gates.
