1.5 Max* called. Is in town this weekend. PURE JOY.
2. Left roommates at third bar of the night, went home
3. Earlier, had forgotten my keys. Arrived home in cold. No keys, no roommates home.
4. FJF came home just in time before my alcohol warm wore off.
Crisis narrowly averted.
*for those of you playing along at home, Max is my friend from freshman year who enlisted after one year of college. He is home now. For good. THEY CANNOT SEND HIM BACK TO IRAQ again. (*knocks on wood*) AND NOW HE IS VISITING. I am transcendently happy. I am even wearing my Ravenclaw scarf as my "Halloween costume".
ETA: My roommate CANNOT walk by a dog without petting it. Observe:
