That was almost too hard to read- of course, when I read "The Stand" some five years ago, I was practically comatose with depression for a week. Wilson's radiation poisoning was...heartbreaking.**sniffle** Even so, the scene that got to me the most was Cameron working down in the lab against all hope. Because, really, what do you do when you're a doctor and the world is falling ill around you?

I feel a little shivery now. I'm going to go look at pictures of kittens until I'm better again.
