Okay, so I'm waiting on acceptances/rejections from NYU and Columbia after getting my hard copy packet of "Woo, Medill! Now here's all the things you have to buy for the new media concentration!", and this might sound really strange, but Chicago (the size of the city) scares the everloving crap out of me. More than NY.

I know NY (at least in broad outlines). I know what to expect and how to get around and the places where it would not be safe for me to walk alone at night.
