1.Samantha Brown's Passport to China is so cool. I want to be her when I grow up (seriously, can you think of a better job?)
2.It's not a Saturday until I am listening to Stephen Fry's podgrams. I am also aheming "Stephen Fry in America", which I suspect will be quite wonderful, amusing, cathartic, and painful, at all the same time.
3. should I bring chips to the football party? how about cake?
4. Should I bring my laptop over? everyone is going to be watching football, and I'm just in it for the food/beer. Perhaps I could get some articles done on the sly.
5. I want to be posting more to Ahlan, but I am at a constant loss of what to talk about. It may not help that I've retitled it "a blog of cultural whiplash" in order to serve my constantly distractible mind from settling on a topic.
6. I am damn good at writing sometimes. Other times, not so much.
7. Should I do NaNo this year? Where would I find the time? Also, I really should start thinking about those j-school essays. Fuck.
8. Ah ha, I cannot do #4, because I am currently working on #2. That settles it.
9. I shall endeavor, as always, to fight the urge to update my facebook profile to look more interesting instead of doing actual interesting things.
