Somehow yesterday I spent the entire day in the house without realizing the air conditioning was broken. Working roommates cam home and looked at me like I'd gone temporarily insane ("Tay, I can't breathe its so hot in here") and we called the landlord, who is actual super nice and called the repairmen immediately, and then pushed up the time they came to fix it this morning by two hours, so there was no actual suffering.

Except the part where we hung out at our friend's apartment with AC, and because I'm a huge ass, I took control of his macbook and yelled at Comcast via phone and chat for hour or so about our cable, and didn't realize that I'd totally overstayed my welcome on using his computer.

I told you all being home by myself all the time would completely drain my social skills. What little I had to begin with.

So I'm at about 9 job applications within the last seven days and I've heard absolutely zero response. Not even a "hey we got your application and we'll be letting you know about the next step in x amount of days".

Here's the thing guys, I could write you a script that would answer emails like mine like that with ONE CLICK. So yeah, STFU you don't have enough time. Also, hire me.

Ugh, I opened this window to write about Eureka, and how awesome it is, until the stupid "look how clever and subversive we are being with our product placement!" moment took me off guard. But my new set of drawers are on its way as we speak, and I've got to clean up.

ETA: The fucking doorbell rang as I typed that last sentence. These things look like they got beat up mid-transit.
